How to make a swan...
In this film, Lauren demonstrates how to make a swan by folding one square piece of paper. Why don't you have a go whilst watching the film. Please leave a comment about how Lauren did.
A nice clear video at the right pace to make a complicated end product. Easy to follow but at times the lighting prevented the viewer from seeing some of the folding. Overall well done and clear speaking voice, and the swan she made certainly looked better than my attempt!
The voice over was very clear with plenty of detail. Should be done a little slower with the detail of the paper brought closer to the camera. Does not state what is being made until at the end of the video.
You had a clear voice and you can see whats happening. I think it is good you showed the screen but you could of used a different coloured paper that didn't reflect the light so much.
I love origami so was keen to try this. Some of the folds are quite tricky so it was good to have a real time video of the process. The presentation was well paced with a clear and confident delivery. The lighting problem could be overcome with a few more close ups and perhaps using a directed light source instead of overhead lighting. Origami is a great skill to share, well done.
